This listing is for one wheel-thrown pitcher featuring freehand drawn calla lilies. Each lily has been sketched onto bisque ware before being carefully painted in wax to resist the glossy white glaze and reveal the raw clay beneath. Each pitcher is one of a kind and unique. Can be used to serve water/or other liquids, or as a vase for flowers.
This pitcher began as a humble ball of clay that has been shaped on the wheel, trimmed, fired, waxed, glazed and then fired again.
Measures approximately 8 inches tall x 7 inches wide
Care: dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand washing is recommended to extend the life of your ceramics.
Why handmade? We believe that handmade pottery is a representation of slow living and minimalism. Forged from natural materials and shaped by the hands of the maker, each vessel reminds us to think about the origin of the piece and how it came to be in our hands.
